A few things you may not know about Jonno Davies…

Jonno’s birth name is Jonathan Davies. He was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire on 17th July 1992 and moved to Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire when he was five.

Jonno was Head Boy at his Prep School.

Jamie Elliott the Northampton Saints rugby player is a good friend.

Jonno broke his collar bone in a rugby match at school.

Jonno is a keen hockey player and was captain of Buckinghamshire at youth level and also represented South East England. He didn’t play hockey at all during his three years of training at Italia Conti, picking up the stick again at the start of the 2013/14 season and is now playing for Richmond Hockey Club.

He has a scar alongside the eyebrow above his left eye caused by the hockey stick of one of his Buckinghamshire team mates during training.

Jonno also plays American Football for the London Olympians in the BAF Premier League, making his debut against Bristol Aztecs in April 2016.

He was lead singer and guitarist of a band called El Fiasco, formed with three sixth form friends at Bedford School.

Jonno’s partner is actress Rachel Bright, best known for playing “Poppy” in Eastenders. The couple met when they co-starred in Dracula at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2014.
